Hoering, Eleanor, 92, beloved wife of 53 years to Charles, was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1917, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. An Oakland resident for 52 years, she retired from the Board of Ed School Cafeteria after 25 years of service. Devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves behind her children, Patricia Jester of Springfield, MA, Diane Vaughan of Watchung, NJ, and Charles Jr. of Oakland, NJ; her grandchildren, Deanna, Kim, Michael, Blaire, and Sam and her great-grandchildren, Johnny, Julianna, Maggie, Ryan and Skyler. She was predeceased by her daughter and grandson Joann and Kurt Borchardt. Her infinite wisdom will live in our hearts and minds forever. Memorial service to be held Sunday, January 3, 2010, from 2-4 PM at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley road Oakland, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the Oakland Volunteer Fire Dept.
