Schaefer, George B. 78 of Oakland, NJ, died January 25, 2010. Born in Weehawken, NJ. During the Korean War he served as a Corporal in the US Army. George worked as a teacher for over twenty five years at Bergen Tech in Hackensack, NJ. He is survived by his loving wife Regina Schaefer (nee Scully), his devoted son's George, William, Peter and Timothy. Cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of one. The funeral will leave the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland, NJ at 8:45 am for a 9:30 am funeral Liturgy at St. Theresa's RC Church in Cresskill, NJ followed by a burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery 10 Serpentine Road Tenafly, NJ.
