Scott, Madeline C. (nee McConaghy), 77, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Born in Bronx, NY she moved to Jersey City where she started her family. She moved to Oakland in 1961 where she resided for 39 years. After retiring from her job as a Typesetter she moved to Little Egg Harbor in 2000. She is predeceased by her husband Neil A. Scott (1997) and her great-grandson Zachary Scott (2005). She is survived by her children Neil and Cheryl of Little Egg Harbor, Glenn of Gilbert, PA, Keith and Donna of Sparta, Brian and Donna of West Milford, Kathleen Vollmin and her husband Wayne of Oakland, Kevin and Meg of Point Pleasant Beach and Charles and Carolyn of Brick. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 at The Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Rd., Oakland, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 30 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 117 Franklin Avenue, Oakland, NJ. Interment will be at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
