Klaus, Johanna F., of Oakland, NJ, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19th. Born Dec. 22nd, 1918 in Braunschweig, Germany, she was the daughter of Otto Reinecke and Berta Runge, and formerly resided in Jersey City, NJ and Wynantskill, NY. She was a gracious homemaker and prolific creator of jams, relishes and homemade cookies; she loved travelling, and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Harvie, her daughter Joan and husband Arnold Ludke, and grandchildren Peter, Andrew, and Amy, as well as her nieces and nephews and many friends. Johanna was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Oakland and of the Oakland Seniors. She was quiet, encouraging, and always provided loving attention to her family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit Friday July 23, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 12 Noon at the Messiah Lutheran Church 228 Ramapo Valley Road Oakland. Burial will be in Redeemer Cemetery Mahwah, NJ.
